What's Next?

It’s been a good semester for me to stay in this composition class. Sadly, it’s almost over. But I have to move on right? How about the next?  I have three months summer vacation. What to do in this long vacation is a big thing. I live in China Beijing, it’s been a while I didn’t see my family, and my grandma is 84 years old now, so my next station is my hometown.

However, it’s not that easy to go home. After all, I’m in America now. There are over 6000 miles from America to China. And it’s been 1 year after I came here, if I go back, I need to renew my student visa. It means I have a lot of paperwork to do. I don’t like to do the things like that, but I have to or I can’t come back here to continue my study. More important, I need to see my family.

Going back to China is just one big thing that I have to do this summer. My next mission is to learn how to play guitar. In March this year, one of my best friends said to me: “hey Edward! How about we play guitar together, we can help each other to learn that and I’ve already learned it for 1 year and I can teach you! We can have this new hobby all the way until we are old. Playing instrument is a kind of hobby you can keep it your whole life. Unlike sports, you can only play it while you are young.” I replied:” yes, Why not. “I’ve already bought a guitar here and I have started to learn how to play it for 3 weeks. I hope after 3 months, I can play two or three simple guitar songs.

Those two things are my major plan in this summer. Of course I need to see my old friends if I go back to China. And I will also play basketball in this summer. Also, I’d like to learn how to play tennis and soccer. It’s going to be a great summer!
