What's Next?

It’s been a good semester for me to stay in this composition class. Sadly, it’s almost over. But I have to move on right? How about the next?  I have three months summer vacation. What to do in this long vacation is a big thing. I live in China Beijing, it’s been a while I didn’t see my family, and my grandma is 84 years old now, so my next station is my hometown.

However, it’s not that easy to go home. After all, I’m in America now. There are over 6000 miles from America to China. And it’s been 1 year after I came here, if I go back, I need to renew my student visa. It means I have a lot of paperwork to do. I don’t like to do the things like that, but I have to or I can’t come back here to continue my study. More important, I need to see my family.

Going back to China is just one big thing that I have to do this summer. My next mission is to learn how to play guitar. In March this year, one of my best friends said to me: “hey Edward! How about we play guitar together, we can help each other to learn that and I’ve already learned it for 1 year and I can teach you! We can have this new hobby all the way until we are old. Playing instrument is a kind of hobby you can keep it your whole life. Unlike sports, you can only play it while you are young.” I replied:” yes, Why not. “I’ve already bought a guitar here and I have started to learn how to play it for 3 weeks. I hope after 3 months, I can play two or three simple guitar songs.

Those two things are my major plan in this summer. Of course I need to see my old friends if I go back to China. And I will also play basketball in this summer. Also, I’d like to learn how to play tennis and soccer. It’s going to be a great summer!

Argumentative Essay paragraph

Thanking about the education system, there are two types of education system around the world. The first one encourage schools to give students homework, quizzes, and tests throughout the whole semester. Nevertheless, the second education system recommend schools have only midterms and finals. For me, I'm with the second idea which have no homework, quizzes, and tests and here are the reasons. First of all, regardless the type of students(full time students or part time students), they both need to spend huge amount of time in class. As a matter of fact, everyone is a independent individual, and have the right to develop differently, but how do we develop differently if we still have homework, tests, quizzes, and midterms, finals after the tiring whole-day class? Every university students knows that time management is vital important for university studying and they do learn how to manage their time properly, but if everyone can extend their patience for just a moment, they can tell if there is a problem about a student is not capable to finish his homework, it is not the student to blame. The reason is simple and reasonable, professor do not know how to help students manage their time. The fact is most of collage and university professors are not trained for teaching. They are only the specialists of particular areas. Students have already spent a lot of money in class, so how about just skip the homework stuff ? Professors have the whole semester to teach students to master it. It is not students problem if they can not understand the class.

My Spring Break

My spring break was kind of dramatic. I didn't make my final decision if I actually want went back to my home country until the last week when spring break was really close on Thursday. At first, I ordered the flight ticket, and I should have departed on Friday in the middle of the night. However, I found out that I didn't get my I20 back from ISS office at the last minutes before I was leaving. The consequence is I had to change the date of my ticket from Friday to Tuesday. For these 4 days I basically did nothing, except went to school's recreation center with my friend, It was a terrible feeling that you are forced to stay in a empty place. Everybody was off somewhere to have fun or stay whit their family. Any way, finally I was in the airplane on Tuesday night. I bought some gift in the duty free shop for my friends in China. The next three days in China. I had a full schedule. I met with lot of my friends, and bought many stuffs that some of my classmates asked me to bring back to America. More importantly, I stayed with my family. It is really important for Chinese people to spend time with their families. Although there were only three days that I can stay in China but still it was worth.

It's a Bad Idea to Have a Job

My dream job? Uh-uh, forget it everybody. I may admire Steve Jobs, but it doesn't means I'm despert to work for The Apples. Let me help you to explore more about my heart :] . Please, read the rest of this artical, and I'll tell you a story.
The interesting part of this story is that I was in faith that I would like to work for the Apples, or maybe work for Soney entertainment department to program some great games like the God of War. The reason is simple, I admire Steve Jobs, I admire his creativity, and I like to play games, although I don't play a lot.
Let me tell you waht I was thinking when I was a little boy. When others ask me what did I want to do in the future, actually I've never thought about it at that time and don't even think I have to get a certain job. The truth is, I just want to say " live". But I was pretty sure that if I told them I wanted to be the richest man in the world like "I want to be a Bill Gates NO.2."my parents would be happy. So I even made it more stronger:" I don't want to be the second Bill Gates, I just want to be the first Chong Xia." So my parents were proud of me.
For now? I know I know, I need to face the reality, get a terrific job with high salary to actually live for this one-time movie-like life, but more importantly, I need to be free, free from my parents, free from religions, free from this world, and I'm kind of scared to be free because when you are free, you probably in a position that people rarely can reach. The fact is part of me don't want to be alone like that. Anyway, to be a reach man requires certain amounts of money. but I'm not rush. I really cherish the time when I have no money, controlled by my parents, struggled with others. Because I think I need to experience things to grow up. I can face the reality, but how can I have some money to be a reach man and finally live in my way? For this moment I will tell you I'm trying to be a film maker, a movie director, editor.
I don't want to just give these stories and pretend that I was always had a clear mind about my life. It's not. Even now, I don't even want to make my future clear, because the life you can see through immediately is hard to imagine isn't it? Don't try to make your life cleaar on purpose and actually no one is capable to make his life clear. Our life is like a movie and no one knows the end until it comes. Someone tells you life is tough. Maybe, but I don't want to think in that way. Someone will tell you life is short, be happy, think less is a bless. But I feel pain all the time. Just FYI, I cried rarely, and I'm a optimistic guy. Don't get it in a wrong way fellas:]]].

My Super Power

To talk about the super power that I want is really difficult because I'm a  realistic guy now. I won't expect to have a super power to have a privilege or to do something easily, and it's hard to imagine what this world would be if some one has super power.But you know what? still, I'd love to have some super power.Maybe it's just because I want super power so bad that I have to be realistic.     So here is the thing, when I was a kid, I really want to have the ability to walk through the wall without any resistance. I thought in this way, I don't need to let my mom to drive me to the school. I can just run to school within 10 minutes.

For now I really like The Iron Man. I'm not sure which super power he has, but I assume extremely smart is his super power. Actually I've never watched The Iron Man cartoons, I just watched movies.But I really like the way Iron Man lives. Maybe I just like the actor Robert  Downey Jr. He is an Aries and so am I haha :)

Sometimes, I really want to have the power to read others mind. You know, for now it's not ancient time, it's not war time, the time we live now is peaceful and with huge amount of information. We have cell phones, computers, internet, cars, airplanes. Everything we have now are making this earth to be a  smaller place Physically. But, it is not the only thing changed. It is too easy to get information today and as a consequence I believe the resistance between human being are no longer the distance physically but the distance mentally. During war time, because of the fear to death, we will say the thing in our heart once we have a chance. That's our instinct. In peace time, we hold too many things in our deep mind because we think we still have chance, however chance won't come as you wish. Be careful which you wish for, it may not happen.

Any way, it's useful to have a super power that allow you to read others mind. It can help me avoid many conflicts, misunderstanding, and can also give me a easier life, have a chance to live in harmony. :):):):)
